Mathematical and Theoretical Biology Institute (MTBI): Introduction

Resources for the Mathematical and Theoretical Biology Institute's student programs.

Noble Science & Engineering Library, Tempe campus

This guide provides instruction and a list of resources for the students in the Mathematics and Theoretical Biology Institute's summer program.

The guide is arranged around two concepts:

  • How to Find Facts and Formulas, and

  • How to Research a Topic
This section is further divided into 3 sub-pages that discuss finding background information, books, and journal articles in more detail.

At the top of the left-hand column on this page are links to other subject-based library guides that might be useful for students in the MTBI program.  These other guides provide more resources and detailed instructions in those subjects.

Each page within this guide also has information in the top of the right-hand column on how to get more help.

Students are encouraged to use our "Ask a Librarian" http://lib.asu.edu/help service for assistance.

In addition to the in-person and phone service offered in each library building at the Information Desks, the ASU Libraries also offer an email service (24-hour turn-around) and a chat service (available 24/7) to assist students with their research needs.
