RefWorks

My RefWorks Account

Connect to http://lib.asu.edu/help/refworks

RefWorks can be used to properly format citations to articles, books and other information in various styles – including American Psychological Association (APA) and Modern Languages Association (MLA). Information from the libraries' "Research Databases" can be imported into RefWorks, and RefWorks can also be used to document free web-sites.

  1. Go to the above web address and then authenticate by supplying your ASURITE ID login and password
  2. From resulting page click-on the link labeled “Sign up for an Individual Account”
  3. Enter your personal information, the displayed security code and press “Register”
  4. * Once successfully registered your name will appear in the “Welcome, name” message displayed in the upper right-hand corner.
  5. Press the “Log-Out” button.
  6. Notes: The confirmation e-mail sent in response to your registration includes the log-in name and password you selected. Save this email.

    My Library Account

    My Library Account

    Connect to https://library.lib.asu.edu/patroninfo

     

    The “My Library Account” is an online option for renewing (extending the due date) of books checked-out from the libraries and is also used to “Request” books from the other ASU libraries. By associating a valid email address with this account you will receive emails from the library (instead of postcards through the U.S. mail system.

    1. Authenticate with your ASURITE ID login and password
    2. From resulting page click-on the “Add/Modify Email” button
    3. In the “EMAIL ADDR” textbox, type-in the name of the e-mail address at which you want to receive overdue reminders and other library communication.
    4. Press “Submit”
    5. Close Window.
    6. Press “Logout” button.
    7. Note: If you experience problems with your “My Library Account” contact the Fletcher Library Circulation Desk at (602) 543-8520.

        

      ILLiad

      My ILLiad Account

      Connect to https://illiad.lib.asu.edu/illiad/Logon.html

      “ILLiad” is used to request pdf copies of journal, magazine and newspaper articles when the libraries’ do not provide online full-text of the article and your home library does not have a physical copy of the issue containing the article.

      1. From the above web address click-on the lower-left-hand link labeled “First Time Users”
      2. Review the information on the remaining page and then press the “First Time Users Click Here” button.
      3. Enter your personal information and then press the “Submit Information” button.
      4. * Once successfully registered your name will appear in the “Welcome, name!” message displayed in the upper left-hand corner.
      5. Press the “Logoff your login name” link.

      Help Feature: If you have already created an ILLiad account but can't recall your password, use the Forgot Password? feature.
