Opening the Geese Book: A full digital facisimile of both volumes of the Geese Book (completed in 1510 for the parish of St. Lorenz in Nuremberg), as well as videos, chants corresponding to the musical notation and more, of the mass liturgy that was sung by choir boys until the Reformation.

How to Use This Library Guide

Navigate this Library Guide through these tabs (at the top):

Research Databases: Article and E-book indexes; some provide full-text.

Primary Sources: Through the Internet, it is now possible to gain access to a huge wealth of primary source material that in the past would have been available only through visiting libraries and archives. The Primary Sources page is divided into two main categories: resources available through ASU Libraries and sites freely available on the Internet.  The Primary Sources page concludes with a section on how to evaluate primary sources on the Internet.

Web Resources: Includes a variety of sites, including general guides and specific databases.
