Advantages

Full-screen viewing available.

Can record Audio separately if desired.

Can add subtitles during the preview. 

Can also publish private screencasts, accessible only through direct URL.

Disadvantages

No video navigation during video.

Very small visual countdown (mouse cursor) for recording.  If you use hotkeys, recording is immediate.

No menu during recording, so if the hotkeys are disabled it is very akward. 

Once video is uploaded to Screentoaster, you are unable to upload the same video to YouTube. 

Saving options are unavailable once uploaded to Screentoaster.

Unable to upload video to YouTube after multiple tries (1/13/10).
