Alleen Pace Nilsen

This library guide is designed to promote those titles selected for the English Journal's annual young adult honor list (from 1988 to date), and to detail the availability of those titles from the ASU Library.

In 2010 the ASU Library, through funding from the ASU Parents Association Library Endowment, established the ASU Library Kindle E-Book Young Adult Literature Collection in honor of Dr. Alleen Pace Nilsen. The funding provided for the purchase of six Kindle readers as well as Kindle versions of approximately 50 of the involved titles.

Since 1988 Dr. Alleen Nilsen (Emeritus Professor of English, Emeritus Faculty Fellow, Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University) has co-authored each English Journal annual honor list.
