Introduction
Academic integrity, student cheating and plagiarism continue to be concerns of the utmost importance to university faculty, administrators, writing center and tutoring staff, librarians and academic advisors. The following web-pages were created to assist persons interested in learning more about these issues and to facilitate classroom discussions.
The Center for Academic Integrity (Rutland Institute for Ethics, Clemson University) leads the efforts to both monitor and educate universities on academic integrity issues, while Turnitin® or Plagiarism.org (whose parent company is iParadigms, LLC), is the leading plagiarism detection subscription service.
To assist instructors in the detection of plagiarism, Arizona State University provides instructors access to SafeAssignment via BlackBoard; see SafeAssignment: ASU Wiki
For additional information about student conduct, instructors are encouraged to visit the Important Policies & Procedures from ASU's Office of Student Affairs.
