PowerUp with the Personal Power Lending Library: Home

Personal energy-generating devices that are available for check out.

Personal Power Lending Library

The devices below are available for you to checkout and use. These devices are provided through The Household Independent Power Project (HIPP), which conducts investigations and engagement around personal and household-scale decisions, innovation, and behavior related to broader questions of sustainable energy system transition. The HIPP Personal Power Lending Library (PPLL) launches at three US project sites in spring 2015 under the “Power Up” slogan. The Lending Library facilitates access to renewable-energy-powered electronics and communication devices and investigation of the potential for mainstreaming such devices in the US and, ultimately, globally.

For checkout, please see the information desk at Noble Library. The devices are cataloged in Course Reserve under Instructor Graffy or Course Power Up. Devices are available for two week checkout.
