Engineering: Essential Readings: Find the books

Where to find copies of the books on the Fulton Schools of Engineering's Essential Readings lists.

Essential Readings

Each year, the Fulton Schools of Engineering (FSE) provides a list of recommending reading from the faculty and staff.  Called "Essential Readings" the list has been produced each year since 2012 and has generated a lot of interest.  These are not engineering texts but rather books for personal and professional development, and for pleasure reading. Whether you like fiction, humor, biography, business, history, science or engineering, there lists have something for you.

To see the actual lists as published in the FSE alumni newsletter, Full Circle, use the links in the left-hand column.

To see where to get a copy of a book(s) in these lists, look below to the full list of all the titles.

  • For ASU faculty/students who are on-campus, check the entry for what's available either in print or online in the ASU Library.  If The ASU Library does not have the book, links are provided for requesting the item via Borrow It Now and Interlibrary Loan.
  • For Alumni, Friends, and students not on-campus, click on the "Find in your Local Library" link to see if your local public library or public-supported university library has the book.

Each entry will also have a link back to the Full Circle article so you can see who recommended this book and why
