Online Media Resources

Media includes the communication and dissemination of news, entertainment, data, and educational information. Digital media sources at ASU include images, streaming video, and recordings including music and text. Streaming Video Library Guide

This Streaming Video Library Guide provides basic information on streaming video resources available at Arizona State University.  The guide organizes these resources into the following broad categories:

Streaming video is a means of delivering video content to computer desktops via an Internet connection, without requiring any additional equipment for decoding or downloading.  Playback requires receiving computers to have appropriate software installed.  Commonly used streaming frameworks include Windows Media, RealVideo, QuickTime, and Flash.
