ESRI Software and Training Resources

ESRI GIS Software

Arizona State University has a site license with ESRI for most of their desktop GIS products.

ASU students can access ArcGIS software at the common area computers in Hayden and Noble Libraries - or, on the computers in the Map Collection.  Students can access ArcGIS software from off campus using Citrix Client software.

ASU faculty and staff can download ArcGIS to their ASU computer through My Apps at MyASU.

Any ASU student, faculty, or staff can request an in-person or classroom introduction to GIS software or data resources from the Map Collection staff. Contact Karina Wilhelm.

Library Books on ESRI software

The 5th edition of Maribeth Price's Mastering ArcGIS is available on reserve from the information desk in the Noble Science & Engineering Library.  This edition covers ArcMap10.  More GIS instructional books (both print and e-books) are listed on this guide's bibliography.

Search the Library Catalog for either ESRI or ArcGIS or Geographic Information Systems to locate other GIS books.
