There are two English words for 道教 (daojiao) Taoism and Daoism. Taoism used the Wade system of transcription; however, for the last 20 years or so the PRC pinyin transcription (Daoism) has gained prominence. The important thing to remember is that Taoism and Daoism are the same thing.
