In PubMed:
Mark each reference to export by clicking in the box to the left of desired references.

From the Send To dropdown options:

- select File as your Destination
- select Medline as your Format
- select a Sort By option
- click the Create File button

Open the file (or alternatively, Save the file to your desktop)
Use the browser's Edit and Select All to select all of the references.

Copy the references using Edit and Copy.

In RefWorks:
- Login to your RefWorks account. Click on References and Import at the top of the screen.

If you chose to Save the file from PubMed to your Desktop, use the From Text File options:
- Select NLM PubMed from the Import Filter/Data Source drop down menu.
- Select PubMed from the Database drop-down menu (or this may be done automatically for you by RefWorks when you select NLM PubMed in step 3).
- Click on 'Choose File,' and browse to find the file you saved.'
- Click on Import
- Click on View Last Imported Folder to view the references and/or move them into the folder/s of your choice.

If you used the browser's Edit, Select All, and Copy for your PubMed references:
- Select NLM PubMed from the Import Filter/Data Source drop down menu.
- Select PubMed from the Database drop-down menu (or this may be done automatically for you by RefWorks when you select NLM PubMed in step 3).
- Click on the link, "From Text,"
- Right Click inside the box that opens and choose 'Paste.' Your references will appear in the text box.
- Click on Import

Click on View Last Imported Folder to view the references and/or move them into the folder/s of your choice.
