Searching for Books & Media

Search the ASU Library Catalog for books, music and media:

To find books by an author, start with the Author search and enter the last name first. (ex: Hartmann, Susan)

To find a book on your topic, start with the Keyword search.

o   When you find a good title, follow the subject headings for more books on the topic.

o   To locate the book, you need the entire call number (ex: KF224.S8 B69 2004), including the library that owns it. (ex: WEST STACKS)

o  When you locate a book of interest you go to the stacks to find it when it is in the library you are in; if it is in another ASU Library click on the blue REQUEST button to have it sent to your library location.

If you request a book be delivered from another campus library to the Information/Check Out Desk at Fletcher Library or your "home" library to pick it up.
