E-books: Downloading e-books for mobile or offline use: ebrary

This guide provides instructions on how to download or check-out e-books for use offline or on a mobile device.

ebrary - Before You Begin:

  • In order to download ebrary e-books to your personal device you must first create a personal ebrary account associated with the ASU Library. To do so, connect to the ASU Library/ebrary interface page (in order to prove that you are a current ASU student, faculty or staff member you will be required to authenticate with your ASURITE ID log-on and password).
  • From the "ASU Library/ebrary" page choose the "Sign In" link from the upper-right corner of the page - and then the "Login" option. First time users will need to use the "Create an Account" option.
  • You also need to create a personal Adobe Digital Editions account, and download that software onto your computer (for a Nook/Sony/other e-reader).
