Alumni Access

ASU alumni are now able to create and maintain a RefWorks account.

In order to create an alumni RefWorks account, please email RefWorks@asu.edu a request for access. You will then be contacted with instructions as to how to set up your account.

Ref-Grab-It

Ref-Grab-It works with your browser to capture bibliographic information from web pages so you can import that data into your RefWorks account. Ref-Grab-It is downloaded from the RefWorks site.

For more information on Ref-Grab-it, please visit the RefWorks Help File or check out the video on using Ref-Grab-It

Attaching Documents

You can attach documents to the references in your RefWorks account. These attachments can be any file type: Word, PDF, image, LaTeX, audio files, anything. The documents are stored on RefWorks servers, so they're available to you from any computer.

  • An individual file can not be larger than 20MB.
  • Your account can not store more than 5GB of attachments.
  • You can have as many attachments per reference as you want.

For more information, watch this video on saving file attachments in RefWorks.

RefShare

RefShare provides RefWorks users with a quick and easy way to share their research information, further enhancing collaborative research. Users can share their RefWorks references with both members of their own institution and globally with any researcher having Internet access.

Check out the video series on Sharing Your RefWorks References for more information.
