What is Interlibrary Loan?

Interlibrary Loan Resource Access and Attainment Policy

Interlibrary Loan is an ASU Library subsidized service which supports the scholarly research and curriculum needs of current Arizona State faculty, staff and students by obtaining materials from libraries around the world. Interlibrary Loan supplements the services offered by the ASU Library and should be used when your needs cannot be met with the ASU Library resources.

Eligible Users:

Current Arizona State University Faculty, Students, and Staff are eligible to use Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery services.   The Ross-Blakley Law Library provides Interlibrary Loan services for the Faculty, Students and Staff affiliated with the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law.

What is Document Delivery?

The ASU Library providess a local Document Delivery service to provide scans of journal articles and book chapters from the ASU Library's print collection to your desktop at no charge.

What is ILLiad?

ILLiad is software used to request materials from other libraries (Interlibrary Loan) and to request scans of journal articles and book chapters from the ASU Library' print collections (Document Delivery).

Text message notification is an optional service in addition to the email notification.
Opt in by adding your mobile phone number to your ILLiad account settings under "Change User Information" and selecting which types of notices you want to receive by text messaging.
