Journal Titles
- A List ApartA List Apart Magazine explores the design, development, and meaning of web content, with a special focus on techniques and benefits of designing with web standards.
Some of these journals and magazines are subscribed and some are freely available on the web.
- American InkmakerOfficial publication of the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers. Publication ceased in 2007. Use the organization's web site for updated information on inks.
- American Printer (online)Articles about the printing industry. ASU Library has paper copies: 1982-2004
- Computer Graphics ForumJournal for in-depth technical articles on computer graphics. It features a lively mix of original research, computer graphics applications, state-of-the-art surveys and workshop and conference reports.
- Computer Graphics World (online)Articles, review articles and commentary on various aspects of computer graphic modeling and creation. ASU Library also has paper copies: 1981-2008.
- Computers & GraphicsArticles on graphical man/machine interaction and the applications of computer graphics. The emphasis of the journal is on interactive computer graphics using CRT-type consoles and manual input devices such as light-pens, tablets, etc.
- Graphic Arts MonthlyThe magazine of the printing industry. Ceased 2010.
- Graphical ModelsGraphical Models emphasizes the interaction between computer graphics, computer vision, and image processing. We also have online access to the earlier titles of this back to 1972. Use the links at the bottom of the page to move backwards to older titles.
- In-Plant GraphicsArticles about off-set printing, copying and electronic publishing.
- Journal of Electronic PublishingArticles on issues that shape policy and on professional, scientific or academic publishing, both books and journals.
- Journal of Visual Communication and Image RepresentationThe Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation publishes papers on state-of-the-art visual communication and image representation, with emphasis on novel technologies and theoretical work.
- Printing ImpressionsMonthly publication about printing and the printing industry.
- Seybold ReportThe Seybold Report is devoted to the cross-media tools, technologies and trends shaping print and Internet publishing.
- Technology TodayFree publication of the Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) discussing research projects that SwRI is involved in, including engine and vehicle research, space engineering, and information technology.
- TIES MagazineA magazine geared toward teachers of technology in junior high and high school.
- Vision Systems DesignComprehensive information and analyses about machine-vision and imaging components, boards, assemblies, software, and systems.
- Visual ComputerReports on state-of-the-art of research in the field of graphics, vision, imaging, and virtual reality, including applications. ASU Library also has paper copies: 1985-2004.
