Islamic Studies
This guide will introduce you to research resources primarily from the ASU Library for the study of Islam as a religion.
Finding Books
- Generating and Using Keywords
Once you have selected a topic for your research, the next step is identifying the keywords critical to describing your topic and generating more before you start searching one of the research databases. Combining with other keywords (such as countries or regions) will narrow your search results.
- ASU Library uses the Library of Congress Subject Headings so that materials can be found in a systematic manner. Subject heading searches provide a more focused search.
