Alfred Newman Beadle, Scottsdale Daily Progress Building, 1969
For his design of the offices of the daily newspaper in Scottsdale, Alfred Newman Beadle employed a modular grid design very similar to the IBEW Administration Complex in Phoenix.

Alfred Newman Beadle, Twelfth Street Office Building, 1985
The design of the Twelfth Street Office Building incorporated a semi-subterranean courtyard to provide a shady retreat from the desert heat. Diagonal windows on this two-story office building were inspired by the anchoring power guylines along 12th Street in central Phoenix. 
William P. Bruder, Phoenix Central Library, 1992
The design for this building is a rectangular mass of copper, concrete, glass, and steel organized into five levels. The north façade of glass is shaded by vertically stretched tensile fabric, shielding the interior from the sun.

William P. Bruder, Kovach Solar Residence, 1976
William P. Bruder designed several residences that used solar energy. One was the Kovach Residence, located in the Yavapai County, Arizona community of Spring Valley. The residence was built in 1976.

William P. Bruder, Murray Residence, 1988
Located on a five-acre desert site in New River, the Murray Residence and its architect won an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects, Arizona Chapter and Phoenix Home and Garden in 1991.
