Access instructions for ASU students, faculty and staff
To access The Wall Street Journal online, students, faculty, and staff must first create an account through ASU’s sponsored access. Once registered, you can read the WSJ on any device via web browser or mobile app from any location.
Registration steps
- Visit the WSJ ASU registration page
- Enter your first and last name.
- Choose your account type: Student, Professor, or Staff.
- Enter your ASU email address and create a password.
- Passwords must be 5–15 characters long, include at least one number, and may not contain spaces, %, &, or + symbols.
- Click Create to complete your registration.
- After registering, access the WSJ through the main website or the WSJ mobile app.
Already have a paid subscription?
If you currently pay for your own WSJ subscription, call 1-800-JOURNAL or email support@wsj.com to cancel it before registering through ASU.Renewals
- Students: Accounts remain active until your expected graduation date.
- Faculty and Staff: You must revalidate your membership annually by visiting the WSJ ASU registration page.
