- United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) Statistical Database
ECA's dual role as a regional arm of the UN, and a part of the regional institutional landscape in Africa, positions it well to make unique contributions to member States' efforts to address their development challenges. Its strength derives from its role as the only UN agency mandated to operate at the regional and subregional levels to harness resources and bring them to bear on Africa's priorities.
- ECA Sub-Regional Offices
The overall objectives of this sub-programme are to promote the harmonization of national policies in various sectors in support of integration efforts towards the consolidation of sub-regional economic communities (RECs) in the overall framework of the African Union (AU), and facilitate the attainment of the goals set by the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD).
- African Union
With a focus on African democracy, unity, and economy and development, The AU strives to promote and protect human and peoples' rights in accordance with the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights and other relevant human rights instruments, as well as establish the necessary conditions which enable the continent to play its rightful role in the global economy and in international negotiations.
- African Development Bank
The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group’s mission is to help reduce poverty, improve living conditions for Africans and mobilize resources for the continent’s economic and social development. With this objective in mind, the institution aims at assisting African countries – individually and collectively - in their efforts to achieve sustainable economic development and social progress.
- Economic Community of West African States
