This is the directory of periodicals indexed within the MLA International Bibliography (EBSCOhost).

This database can be used to determine which journals are peer-reviewed. The database also allows you to determine which journals are actively publishing within specific disciplines (which can help you to learn the names of key journals in your research area(s).


Waterloo Directory of English Newspapers and Periodicals 1800-1900
This directory is "a subject-inclusive, language-inclusive bibliography of 50,000 publications, 48,000 personal names, 4,572 issuing bodies and 756 subjects."
