Oral Histories

  • Creative Push is a multimedia visual art and oral history project that focuses on the most formative of human experiences: birth.
  • Joyce Finch Oral History Project interview transcripts regarding members of the United States Cadet Nurse Corps and abstracts of the interviews produced by Elsie Szecsy.
  • Lost Boys Found Oral Histories is an ongoing, interdisciplinary project that is collecting, recording and archiving the oral histories of the Lost Boys/Girls of Sudan.
  • Ralph Cameron Oral History collection is a series of seven interviews with Ralph Cameron, interviewed by his son Leroy Cameron, discussing education at Phoenix Indian School and Sherman Institute in Riverside, California; World War II military exploits; community activities; speaking to his grandchildren; and children's stories.
  • Undocumented Voices is an oral history project that seeks to document the lives of undocumented students, known as dreamers, who have, and are currently, pursuing a more inclusive US immigration policy.
  • US Congressman Harry Mitchell Oral History Project includes video recordings of interviews with Congressman Harry Mitchell and six members of his Washington and Arizona staff.


Arizona State Music Teachers Association Collection: administrative records, publications and photographs of the Association, predecessor organizations and and regional and national affiliates.

ASU School of Music Performance Archive is devoted to the preservation and dissemination of recordings of performances offered by School of Music from 1985 to the present day. Note: some materials may be restricted to ASU users for copyright compliance.

ASU Sheet Music Collection consists of 30,000+ pieces of un-cataloged sheet music, ranging from the late 1800's through the 1980's. Pre-1923 titles are available for download.

Jere T. Humphreys: Selected Works in Music and Music Education consists of articles, papers, keynote and major speeches, reviews and responses related to music education, and some about arts education and arts business, some reference emerging countries.
