What is behavioral health?
Behavioral health generally refers to mental health and substance use disorders, life stressors and crises, and stress-related physical symptoms. Behavioral health care refers to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of those conditions. (American Medical Association)
Behavioral Health Needs in the United States is large and growing, with 1 in 5 adults, adolescents and youth experienced a behavioral health issue between 2019-2020.
